We had a great Christmas with my (Jessica’s) family. It was the first Christmas in 5 years that we were all together.
It started off quite differently than usual. On Christmas Eve, we were hit with a blizzard that dumped 14 inches of snow on us. So instead of doing the usual, go to the parent’s house on Christmas Eve, go home and come back Christmas morning thing, we packed for an overnight stay (just in case), and we did end up staying. We didn’t get any pictures of the snow, because I didn’t think about it. Oh well!
We had fun on Christmas morning. Spencer seemed to enjoy his getting presents, but lost interest with unwrapping very quickly. So, we just let him open presents as he was interested. And present opening lasted all day for him. It was fun. We know it will never happen that way again, but we still enjoyed it. Here are some of our favorite shots!
